The Book Week was looked forward to with great enthusiasm. It was a week exploring the wonderful world of books where characters were made real through imagination. The children enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book character and introducing themselves. Some even related the story their character was taken from, in detail. We had Aladdin with his magic lamp, gingerbread men, pirates, Jack with his very own beanstalk, numerous Spidermen and even a Red Riding hood. The Parents were invited on the final day of the week for a special presentation. The children performed items from books on a makeshift stage. The 3+ class told the story of the “Very Hungry Caterpillar” in their own special way and the 4+ Class presented a toe tapping version of the “Three Little Pigs”
